One to One Yoga and Meditation
Instruction and Guidance
Worcestershire and online
One-to-one yoga sessions provide the opportunity for personalised guidance tailored to your specific needs, concerns and abilities. A dialogue can open up about between teacher and student so that private or sensitive information can be shared in confidence and, because feedback is both two-way and immediate, you will have control over the pace and content of your practice.
Please email me to set up your one to one session. It’s really helpful if you can let me know your reasons for booking and how you think I may be able to help you.
I’ll be in touch with you to set up an appointment, then I’ll send you a health questionnaire, and a link to your booking so that you can pay online before you arrive. I’ll also send you an information sheet about where to come, what to wear and so on.
How much does a one-to-one cost?
60 minutes – £58
60 minutes x 3 – £168
Optional follow up worksheet for home practice to be emailed after your session £15
Reasons to book a one to one
- Specific Health Concerns: Injuries and some chronic conditions (physical and/or mental) may require modifications that are best addressed in a private setting. Personalised guidance together with home practice can aid in recovery and symptom management. As and when appropriate this could allow a transition to a group class armed with information to make the right choices.
- Building Confidence: For some, group classes can feel intimidating at first; private sessions provide a comfortable environment to build confidence and foundational skills.
- Setting up a Home Practice: Get inspiration and ideas to take away and use at home, knowing that an experienced practitioner has ensured a well balanced and safe practice for you.
- Personal Goals: Whether aiming to improve flexibility, strength, or mental well-being, one-to-one sessions allow for a tailored approach that aligns with personal goals.
What you can look forward to
- Initial Consultation: The session begins with a brief discussion about your intentions for practice, health concerns, and any specific areas of focus or limitations. Together we decide a way forward.
- Personalised Practice: Lucy will then guide you through a practice to nurture your unique needs. This may include specific asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and relaxation techniques.
- Feedback and Support: Unlike a group class there will be a continual dialogue to help refine your practice and deepen your understanding. Questions can be addressed as we go along.
- Practice Sheet: A simple record of the practice will be shared with you so that you can work through the same practice after the session as many times as you like.
